Styling & Storytelling
le perche, france. spring 2017 (SOLD OUT)
Join Gillian Stevens and Emilie Anne Szabo this spring for a lifestyle workshop hidden away in the charming countryside of France. We will be residing at a historic inn a few hours outside of Paris, surrounded by rolling hills and forests. We will be immersed in beauty and French culture as we explore the art of styling and storytelling with our cameras.
The workshop will provide many hands on experiences for you to style and shoot, to develop your skills as a storyteller, and learn more about the unique creative process of lifestyle photography. We will be partnering with independent brands, using their products as examples of how we adequately and creatively story-tell to capture the things their brand represents. There will be styled sessions including foraging in the meadows, preparing and styling an afternoon picnic, editorial lifestyle, and tables full of handmade pottery and linens.
While our days will be filled with inspiration, creativity, and collaboration, our evenings will be filled with delightful food and conversation; with a menu centred around locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, and wine pairings from the surrounding areas.
We are so excited to embark on this journey and hope you will join us!
May 31st to June 2nd.
(Arriving on Wednesday evening for a welcome dinner).
The workshop will take place at D’une Ile in Remalard, about 2 hours outside of Paris, France.
